Meditation For Inner Peace by Bob Crawford - - Beginners Welcome!

Weekly talk and guided meditation led by spiritual teacher Bob Crawford. Come explore the many facets of meditation and learn how to open new doors of consciousness. Each week brings us new opportunities to grow, but each week also brings us new challenges, some of which can push us out of alignment with our inner selves. Learn to quiet your mind through meditation and begin hearing the voice of your inner spirit.
This drop-in style class is an exploration of the many aspects of meditation, and each week's class will focus on a different type, or style, of meditation. In addition to group discussions led by Bob, the class will use written and recorded material from a variety of meditation teachers and sources.

Our weekly meditations are open to all, from the just curious to the experienced. Whether you are just beginning to practice meditation, or you already have a comfortable meditation practice, we invite you to come and experience something different this week!

Each month the Guild schedules a presentation at the Center for Progressive Therapies. The purpose of the Guild is educational & brings specialists in the many Holistic, Integrative Health practices to the public. Subjects areas covered in the past include Animal Communication, Past Life Regression, Nutrition, Devine & Spirit Worlds, Stress Reduction Techniques, Holistic Lifestyle, Zen Meditation, The Power of Now, Bach Flower Essences, Shamanism and past life therapy.Numerology & Astrological Practices, Dreams, Naturopathy, The Energetic Body, The four Agreements, Various Therapies & Modalities of Healing. 4th Thursday Evenings of each month 7 pm
A Men's Circle - Gatherings for the Male Journey
Started by Alan Lopez, this meeting organized the group. We continually explore our group's intention to be in unity in a time that try men's souls. Perhaps, as in no previous era have we men found ourselves facing such vital challenges: both inward and outward. We are confronted with critical questions:
What it is to be a man? What is the direction of our journey? and above all - What trustworthy resources are available along the way?
In our gatherings we will explore, share, and support each other to act on these and other questions that live in our souls. We will have the opportunity to step out of the awful, invisible isolation that marks the lives of so many of us into a confidential community of peers.

This is an ongoing Men's Circle started last year by Alan Lopez, PhD. Alan maintained a private psychotherapy practice in CT for nearly 20 years and has led numerous workshops on men's issues and founded several long running men's groups. He is the author of "Passion and Purpose in Men's Lives".
